Finding the light at the end of the tunnel♥

Happiness is a form of courage... For a few weeks now, I've been pretty emotionally disturbed. I honestly didn't know why but sometimes that happens. You feel as if life is passing you by and you aren't living up to everyone else's expectations for you. Jon McLaughlin has a song that sums up exactly how I've felt for about two weeks: "I'm trying to figure out what clever is. I look for clues in awkward silences, and I don't know what happened, but I've been this way ever since."♥

Anywho, I cheered up because my true friends were there for me, and God reminded me how much he loves me, and things are starting to become clearer. This week until it passes, I plan to trust God with all that has burdened me this semester thus far. I know I can finish out with the strength of Christ. And I plan to.♥

Other than that, I went home this weekend which was much needed and hella-fun. On Friday, I spent the night with my mom, and caught up on some tv. On Saturday, we celebrated Jamie's 16th bday which is actually Wednesday.

Here's some illustrations to go along with the story:

My beautiful baby sis with her yummy cake. :)

Jamie before she blew out her candles...about to make a wish.

 Wish made. :D

Me and the soon to be sixteen year old! :D
Me and both my beautiful sisters♥
\ The card I got for my sister...hehe.
 Getting silly hahahahahahaha.

Happy Family pic with Hazy! lol. I think she did some advertising for ASPCA before she came to us.

You'd adopt this face if it came on your tv right? Yeah, me too.  I have a special place in my heart for crazy gingers. ♥

Hazel loves me♥

 Hazel and I♥

My best friend Geniveve and I♥

Overall as you can see, sometimes the only way to fill an emotional whole is to fill it with love for people you care about the most♥

This week beside getting back on track in general, I plan to start re-studying the male species:

Before I leave you with a final thought, here's two new poems that I wrote:

Until next time, remember:
Stop comparing yourself to everyone else! I mean it. God has a unique, one-of-a-kind, awesome, amazing plan for YOUR life. Trust that and thank him for it. -Joyce Meyer♥

What my non-midlife crisis taught me♥

Happiness is a form of courage...Ever doubted God's plan for your life? Ever felt like you just weren't meant to do something? Ever just felt afraid to grow up? That's what I dealt with this week. Let me explain.

I realized I didn't know if I wanted to do marketing anymore. Not because I'm any less creative but because I would love to just be a writer but society won't allow me to. Society as a whole hasn't yet accepted that my talent is solely in writing, and any other form of communication is not my strong suit. Yet, I just had a moment of complete doubt this week in my marketing classes. So I prayed and finally got my sign:

On Wednesday morning at 12:30 a.m. I realized this, and with Valentine's Day coming up this week, I'm glad I figured this out.

Beside having a non-midlife crisis, I also finished a book I've been trying to read since the summer.
It's such a powerful book about how much affect you have on others and how despite when people bully you or make you feel small, you can keep holding on. Everyone needs to read this. I mean, everyone.

Since I figured out my life calling and feel better about both my careers, I decided to change up my hair so here's some pictures of my new style:

On Friday, I went to the movies and saw Identity Thief and Warm Bodies. I loved both of them.

Yesterday, I went to Disney with my friend Demetre.
Cinderella's castle. :)

 I finally met Tinkerbell.
 She was adorably cute.

 Near the Beast's castle.

My roommate Genny did a french manicure for me and I picked red in honor of Valentine's day.

My mom gave me a whole bag of M&M's for Valentine's Day...

Until next time,  remember and I was reminded at Disney yesterday:
There's a great big beautiful tomorrow shining at the end of every day. There's a great big beautiful tomorrow, and it's just a dream away.♥

Love times Infinity,
