Love is Patient

My life has become a realistic fiction novel...Remember last week's blog? It was all I like this guy...I loved this guy...I don't think I love him anymore.

Well, yeah. About that. Sorry, if I confused you.

I realized this week that I made the guy I like my life these past two weeks. If I'm not talking about him, then I'm writing about him or I'm hanging out with him.

Yeah, forget that noise. Chellyz back, baby, and she's not going anywhere ever again.

I have to remember what God defines love as: Love is patient. (1 Cor. 13:4-8) Read that. It will change your life over and over again. Every time I read it, it awakens me to realize that I've let my head(logic) overrule my heart(my spirit) and I've been making a mess of things. I wrote a letter to the guy I loved for five years then recently told him I just want to be friends. All because of this guy who I liked or because logic was telling me he was the smarter choice.

I've started reading this book The Truth About Guys by Chad Eastham and it is ah-mazing. I'm almost done with it and I just got it yesterday. It's a great companion book to the Bible. :)

One thing I've learned from it is that your heart should be so wrapped up in God that a guy has to ask for directions to find it. :D

Be a diamond ladies and never, never, ever let go of YOU to please him, for the LIFE of you, do NOT do it.

So, I'm taking love one day at a time and letting God keep my heart until the right guy comes along who fully values it for its worth.

Until next time remember: "Do not let someone become your priority when you are just their option."

Where To Begin

My life has become a realistic fiction novel... I'm in love. Yet, I'm not in love with the person I have believed I was in love with for the past five years.

Nope, I'm in love with not being in love. I'm in love with being in like with this person. We mutually like each other and we hang out but we are not dating. That's up to the male to decide. Guys like the chase and pursue so therefore, he has to approach me if he wants to date me.

Anyway, remember the guy of five years that I loved. Well, I realized that I no longer love him as anything more than a friend. I will always be here for him as a friend but I don't want to date this person, etc. You can thank the guy that I like for making me realize this.

I also realized that all that I believed was love was not love. I've been fooled to believe many things over the past five years but one thing all of it taught me was that God did create a man just for me but this person is not that person. Also, I've learned what love shared between two people is: Love(adj): An emotion shared between two people who stop wanting to change the other person for the better but want to accept them for everything they are even at their worst♥

Wrote a new poem and posted it on poemhunter. It's called That Should Be. It is about the guy I like. Check it out. poemhunter.com/chelsea-devries

Until next time remember, sometimes things fall apart so that better things can fall together♥

Cat-Sitting Adventures!

My life has become a realistic fiction novel... No, we didn't actually sit on cats. How cruel of you to think that's what we did. :P

No, my friend Sarah was asked to take care of a family friend's cats because they were away, and Annie and I joined her because we like to party! :)

So, Saturday we got up and Sarah did my make-up. Here's a couple visuals:
and a close up: Prettyful, right? Sarah, you're so talented with a make-up brush. :D

We then had breakfast(coffee and a granola bar in case you were curious) and chilled till 1:20 because we didn't know what we wanted to do but at 1:20 we had lunch.
Exhibit A: In case you didn't notice, we had Wendy's. :)
Oh, let me show you the cats.
Here's Lexie:
She's quite the poser. :P Reminded me of my best friend Geniveve. :)
Then, there was Mr. Whiskers.
This guy was a flirt and I swear he thought he was my boyfriend. This morning in fact, when we were getting ready to leave, he actually put his paw on my hand as if he was begging me not to go. haha. Sarah has visual proof. Ask her for the picture if you see her. :)

Anyway, as soon as Devin came we went grocery shopping and then had chicken cordon bleu for dinner with rice and green beans. Sorry, there's no visual but fyi, you're drooling. :P
Then, Sarah and I couldn't sleep Saturday night and tried everything. We tried counting sheep, running in place, and resting our eyes. We were drunk off the gluten-free brownies and laughing at random but serious questions that Sarah kept coming up with. :D

Then, on Sunday we went to college group at Cypress Point Community Church and then went to eat lunch at BJs. Here's us before the entree came out:
Well, that's me and Sarah. Annie and I's picture didn't come out good. :(

We had sausage, bacon, and ham deep-dish pizza and no, I freaking forgot to get you a visual. I'm so sorry! Just try to use your mind's eye and not to flood your keyboard in drool...ew, man.

Then we properly partook in our daily exercise to digest our food healthily. haha. That means we walked around the mall, yo!
Here is Sarah and I:
Here is Annie and I:

Now, all you men out there who ever wanted to buy me a drank, my drink of choice is:

Haha. A dunkin donuts or Starbucks Latte with 3 sugars, for your future reference. :)
After study/download music time/hw time, we went for a nice walk around the neighborhood and ran into a stray cat that creepily tried following us home. :/ Needless to say, we ran away and FAST!

Following that, we had apple pie and watched Monster In Law. :D

Just FYI, when I graduate and get my own place, I'm getting me a painting just like this:

Anyway, yesterday when I was reading my bible I found a verse that I wanted to share with all of you.
"What you say about yourself mean's nothing in God's work. It's what God says about you that makes the difference♥"-2 Cor. 10:18

So, this week thanks to friends and a facebook consensus, I've decided I'm going to tell the person I have feelings for that I have feelings for them. :)

Speaking of love, I have a final thought for all of you.

Until next time, remember you can't love if you don't LOVE YOURSELF. :D
