Teenage Author stuck in Reality... February has turned out to be and it is already over. Goodness! Time flies.
Well, had a wonderful ending to my month. Wrote a poem on Friday that I entitled Toy Recall. I suggest you read it for face value as a poem rather than trying to figure out who it is about or knowing who it is about and judging me for it...
On Saturday, My baby sister Jamie Taylor turned 13. This means that I am officially old. :P Had a wonderful day with her making blooper reals and such to songs such as Drop it Low by Ester Dean and LMFAO's I'm in Miami Bitch! :D Funnn! :)
Today(Sunday), I went to Busch Gardens and saw Pat Benatar live in concert! It was radical, dude. :P No, it was pretty kewl considering I actually knew some of her songs unlike my David Cassidy experience. haha. Then, after visiting the Big Busch we visited our fave fast food place, Taco Bell and ate our hearts out in terms of how much food we consumed.
Two weeks till spring break!
Until next time, in the words of the singer Kat Deluna: Do what you want like nobody's watching! :)

Things that need to be said
Teenage Author stuck in Reality...I love all people and do not judge them on their choices or race, sexual orientation, gender, etc. I presented my beliefs on homosexuality on my former formspring account and was attacked for them. I was just voicing my opinion and beliefs based on what I know from the Bible. People will believe what they want and that is fine and I respect that but I honestly don't appreciate people telling lies that I hate someone for being gay when I don't hate on gay/straight/bisexual people because of their orientation. I actually do not hate anyone. Hate is too strong of an emotion for it to fit in my life. I love. I get deeply pissed. I get sad to the point of depression but I have never hated anyone in my life.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion; this is a free country. As my dad always said to me as a child, "Opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one and some of them stink."
Just remember that and stop taking everything so personal. Don't believe everything you read. If you and another person are confronted with an issue, talk about it with them face to face because things written on facebook/myspace/twitter/even this blog can and will be read wrong. My tone is oblivious in this unless I use this :)
For anyone I offended with my formspring post, I am truly sorry.
Thanks for reading!
Sincerely,
Chelsea DeVries

Wow. What a week!
Teenage Author stuck in Reality... This week flew by. Anyone else feel this way?
Had a good week. Sold a book. Started my new job and liked it. Befriended someone who I thought I would never talk to again.
Class wise, I've got a lot of work and less time now that I work. I just hope I can get my laundry done before I go home this weekend. :)
Thursday was my half b-day and one person wished me a happy half b-day. Not that I make a big deal about my half b-day but it just means a lot to me because it means I've been 18 for 6 months. :D
Excited for this week to go by quickly tho cuz I get to go home next weekend for V-day. :D
Until next time, Forgive and forget!

Getting this off my chest...
Teenage Author stuck in Reality... first and foremost, I must state that the Bible is a reliable source of truth and all that is written in it is TRUTH.
Other than that, had a good week at Leoland.
On Tuesday the 26th, I got a fortune in my fortune cookie that shook me completely. It said: Look For The Dream That Keeps Coming Back. It is your destiny. To me this fortune is speaking of my love life because 26 is the number of my love destiny. :D
Other than that, saw When in Rome yesterday with some friends. I really liked it. Best Romantic Comedy I've seen since I Hate Valentine's Day. :)
Today, I'm choosing not to let the little things get to me and just focusing on my hw. I'm off to the library to study. :)
Until next time, I'll leave you with a quote from When In Rome:
I love him even if he doesn't love me back!

A really good week
Teenage Author stuck in Reality... this past week was.
First, I got out of my human behavior class on MWF and now have it TR at night and it is working out well so far. I like not having to see my frenemies. ;-)
Second, I got out my philosophy class so that I could have a lunch break and also because the professor was a wierdee. Now, I'm taking philosophy online and that online class doesn't start till March 8. :) My friend situation is also improving. I am now surrounding myself with trustworthy, good people and it is working out better than last semester.
Also, I went home this weekend and went to the movies with my family. I saw Tooth Fairy. That was a really good movie and I basically saw it in support of my boy Sheckler but it was good movie overall. Although, I must say I can't see anyone else playing the character Ryan played in it. He was that good of an actor in that film and technically it was his first feature film with a semi-lead role. Also saw The Lovely Bones. That was an incredible movie. I had read the book and thought Peter Jackson really honored the book well with the movie. I also thought the actress who played Susie was amazing. :)
Here's me supporting my boy Ryan Sheckler:

Other than that, I had a nice weekend with the family and my best friend Geniveve Rosalynn. I've got a ton of hw I should be doing right now though, so I'm gonna get started on that.
Until next time, Support the Sheckler Foundation like my girl Geniveve is doing below:

Back to Leoland.
Teenage Author stuck in Reality... Well, started a new semester at Leoland aka Saint Leo University and overall, I am happy with my new schedule. Although, I am trying to change my human behavior class because I don't want to be in a class with the boy who wants to have and eat his cake at the same time and my former roommate. I am trying to have a very successful semester which in my opinion means I get straight A's. I don't feel I would be successful if I stayed in this particular class. :/
Anywho, I am still looking for work on campus. I pray God sends me a job soon. At this point, I honestly don't care what I would do at that job, just as long as I have one. I already have the job that makes me happy(being a writer) so my second job can be a little painful.
For the most part, I am so happy with my life overall. I know who my friends are and who isn't, and I feel like the puzzle pieces of my love life are falling into proper place. :D All Thanks to God for that.
Until next time, I will leave you with a quote from RevRunWisdom(Twitter):

Let's Party
Teenage Author stuck in Reality... like it's 2010! Haha and it is! Heck yes but before I talk about that...I must talk about one gift I got this Christmas that opened my eyes. I didn't get many physical presents this Christmas. Instead of letting that get me down I realized something: My sisters and I are becoming more closer this winter break than we ever have been our whole lives. They are getting older and I am able to talk about stuff with them that I couldn't before. I am so Blessed.
Back to 2010, I believe it will be the year when everything I have been believing for will come together.
1. My books will sell.
2. My third novel will be published.
3. I will finally get my license.
4. I will get better grades this semester.
5. I will enjoy my single status and know that God has already revealed to me that the one I love will be there when I'm ready.
Until next time, BELIEVE!
